Sony Network Entertainment has announced via the official Playstation blog that Playstation Plus members who held an active membership during the supposed hack that left PSN offline this holiday will be receiving five extra days of Playstation Plus, as well as ten per cent off of one total cart purchase in the Playstation Store.
“This discount can be used toward content available on PS Store including blockbuster new releases, award winning indie games, game add-ons and season passes, and an enormous selection of TV and Movies,” the blog post reads.
While many are grateful for the membership extension, some users have expressed discontent, viewing Sony’s offer as the bare minimum compensation.
