Should NetherRealm Studios Make A New Mortal Kombat vs. DC Game?

I’ve just wrapped up the storyline for Mortal Kombat X and it was a roller coaster ride full of excitement, shocking events and familiar faces from the past.

With that being said, I think it would be awesome if NetherRealm Studios treated the fans with a built from the ground up Mortal Kombat vs DC Remake. Injustice Gods Amoung Us, another DC oriented fighting game, was a major success thanks to NetherRealm Studios. They nailed the game by satisfying fans of both fighters and the DC Universe. Mortal Kombat vs DC was released back in 2008 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and developed by Midway Games which is now defunct. The game has great review scores by a lot of different critics and is an awesome gem to collect. It was an very interesting idea by colliding these two extremely different worlds and have them combat each other for dominance then have both sides team up to triumph over a common enemy.

Dark Khan

The possibilities are endless by combining these two worlds once again and the character Dark Khan is proof of this. Dark Khan is a Mortal Kombat vs. DC exclusive character and is a rage monster created by the fusion of Shao Khan and Darkseid. Characters like this innovative and makes things quite intriguing. NetherRealm Studios has set a new standard for the fighter genre, with the success of Injustice and their last two Mortal Kombat games. Why not have these two worlds collide again by either continuing the storyline from the original Mortal Kombat vs. DC or create an entirely brand new story involving more characters from both sides that weren’t present in the original game crafted by NetherRealm? Even if this game doesn’t come to be, I’m more than excited to see what the studio will do with future DC and MK titles. netherrealm_studios_logo_001

Do you think another Mortal Kombat vs. DC game should be be developed, based on the amazing feedback received by fans and critics of Injustice and the last two Mortal Kombat games?
